What is the PVR Privilege Club?

PVR Privilege Club is a Loyalty program that rewards patrons for attending participating PVR Cinemas. Members get to earn Points on their spends on Tickets and on F&B items, and those Points are used to generate vouchers that can be applied to future purchases of tickets and/or F&B.

Is there a Membership card?

PVR Privilege Club is a card-less program, where your Mobile number acts as your Unique identifier. Members need to provide their registered mobile number every time they transact at PVR in order for us to credit the appropriate number of Points into their account. There are no hassles of carrying a card with this program.

What kinds of transactions earn points?

All spends on purchase of Tickets and Food & Beverages made at our cinemas or on our website ( earn points under the PVR Privilege Program.

How can I keep track of my Points and Reward vouchers?

Members can track their points and reward vouchers through the following means:

  1. PVR will send an SMS to the registered mobile number after every transaction, outlining the points accrued in that transaction as well as total points outstanding.
  2. Members can login at and go to "My Profile" page, where details of total points balance, available vouchers and their transaction history would be visible.
  3. Members can give a missed call to 7053118777, and an SMS would shortly be sent to their registered mobile number outlining their total points and vouchers available.

Note: It may take up to 72 hours from a given transaction for points and vouchers to be credited in an account

Do I need to give my number every time I transact at PVR?


Your mobile number acts as the Identifier in this program. Hence you must provide the number upon making your transaction at PVR cinemas or our website, in order for us to credit points for that transaction to your account.

I purchased tickets or food items at PVR, but forgot to give my number. Can points be given to me against those transactions now?

Transactions made without entry of mobile number cannot be tagged to an account under the PVR Privilege program. Hence, you must never forget to provide your mobile number for every transaction.

How do my points get converted into Reward Vouchers?

After the points value of a member reaches or exceeds 50, the program back-end automatically redeems 50 points from their total and converts it into a Reward Voucher worth INR 50. This voucher can be applied towards future transactions at PVR Cinemas or at our website.

I had received Reward Vouchers by SMS earlier, but I can't find them on my phone now. Can I get them again?

Of course.

You can re-generate an SMS with details of your outstanding points and available vouchers by doing the following:

  1. You can login at and go to "My Profile" page. Against each available voucher would be a link called "Click to SMS"; clicking on this link would send an SMS to your registered mobile number.
  2. You can give a missed call to 7053118777, and an SMS would shortly be sent to your registered mobile number outlining the total points and available vouchers.

How do I sign up into the PVR Privilege program?

You can become a member of the PVR Privilege in one of the following ways:

  1. You can visit any of the selected cinemas where the Program is rolled out and give your number at the Box office or at the PVR Privilege desk.
  2. You can visit and go to "Join Now" section and choose to enroll from the available options.

Why do I need to update my Profile?

You should update your profile so that we may be able to send you personalized offers, and special birthday bonuses as applicable to your tier.

How many tiers are there? And what are the benefits of the Red Tier?

You pay INR 300 and give your mobile number, in order to enroll into the Red Tier of the PVR Privilege program for one year. You will immediately get 3 complimentary F&B vouchers (INR 100 each) via SMS, which you can redeem at once! That's not all!.

You earn PVR Privilege points @5% on spends on tickets and on F&B by quoting your number during every transaction. Redemption is automatic - the moment you reach or exceed 50 points, you will receive vouchers worth INR 50 each via SMS on your registered mobile number. These vouchers can be used at Box Office or F&B counters at our cinemas, and on our website.

Your points are valid for 12 months, and your vouchers for 90 days.

There's more! Red Tier members get up to 4 F&B combo upgrade vouchers per year. With these Combo Upgrade vouchers, you get upgraded to Couples' large combo; but have to pay only for a Large combo.

How can I use my Reward Vouchers?

You can use your Reward vouchers in the following ways:

  1. You should narrate the voucher code / show the Voucher SMS to the staff member at the Box Office or F&B counter at a participating PVR cinema, and (s)he will apply the same on your transaction.
  2. You would need to enter the voucher code in the "Apply Promo code" text box on the Payment page of our website before you complete the transaction.

Can I use multiple vouchers in one transaction?

You can use multiple vouchers of one type in one transaction, provided the total face value of the vouchers does not exceed the value of the purchased item. E.g. you can use up to Two vouchers of Rs. 50 to pay for a Rs. 100 item at PVR.

Do my Privilege Points expire?

Your PVR Privilege points are valid for one year from the date of issue.

Do my Reward Vouchers expire?

Your PVR Privilege Reward vouchers are valid for 90 days from the date of issue.

I would like to update my profile information, How can I update it?

You can update your personal profile information such as your full name, email ID, date of birth etc. by means of following methods:

  1. Upon enrollment, you will get a Welcome SMS which will have a link embedded within. Clicking on that link will take you to a personalized Profile page, where you can update your details.
  2. Alternatively, you can login at, select "My Profile" tab from the menu at the top, and visit the "Update your profile" section and update the same.

Note : In both the above instances, you can update your profile information fields EXCEPT your mobile number. For information on how to update your mobile number, pls read below.

My mobile number has changed. How do I update it?

If you would like to update your mobile number, you can send us an email at We will update your PVR Privilege Account and transfer previously accrued points and vouchers. Kindly allow us up to 72 hours to effect this change.

My points balance does not look right. What should I do?

In which cities can I use my PVR Privilege Reward vouchers?

As on the date of writing, your points and vouchers are valid only in the city you enrolled originally in.

However, the PVR Privilege program is being progressively rolled out across the country. So, you will soon be able to use your membership across all PVR cinemas!

PVR Privilege Program Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the overall PVR Privilege loyalty program designated for pilot locations only. The PVR Privilege program consists of a paid membership program - PVR Privilege Club, brought to you byPVR Ltd. (collectively "we," "us," "our," "ours", "PVR Cinemas"). Your participation or use of any membership or related benefits in the Program ("Membership") at any time subjects you ("you," "your," "yours," "Member") to the provisions of these terms and conditions, as amended from time to time.

Membership and benefits valid in the following locations only:

All PVR Cinemas except PVR Director's Cut (New Delhi), and PVR Opulent Mall (Ghaziabad)

    1. The Program as described herein represents a new pilot program for PVR; and the applicable benefits are available only at select locations as set forth above. Members of the Program agree to these terms and conditions ("Agreement"), as published and subject to periodic update at
      This Agreement replaces all previously published information, and PVR may change this Agreement, in whole or in part, at any time without prior notice.
    2. By enrolling in the Program, Member agrees to receive advertising, marketing materials and other Program communications. Member will be asked to provide a Mobile number, email address, name, date of birth in order to receive benefits and reward notifications. We expect Member to submit and maintain accurate and current user information in connection with their Membership.
    3. Membership is valid at participating PVR Cinemas locations. Membership is open to residents of India who are 18 years of age or older.
    4. Membership accounts, benefits, special offers, and rewards (i) are nontransferable, except to a new membership account for the same member in the case of a lost or changed mobile number, (ii) have no cash value and are not gift cards or gift certificates, (iii) cannot be offered for resale, and (iv) are not redeemable for cash under any circumstances. Accumulated rewards and special offers do not constitute property of the Member, nor are accumulated rewards transferable by the Member
    5. Points and Rewards may not be used toward the purchase of PVR Cinemas gift cards.
    6. Entities or persons using the Program for wrongful doing and to make profit are not eligible to become or remain Members or to accumulate rewards. Membership is intended for individual use only, and is not available to organizations, other legal entities or groups such as, but not limited to businesses, non-profits, etc. Abuse of the Program, including failure to follow this Agreement, may result in cancellation of the Member's Account, future disqualification from participation and forfeiture of all rewards accrued, in addition to other remedies available to us under applicable law. In connection with the enforcement of any provision of this Agreement governing the Program, PVR reserves the right to take appropriate legal action as it deems necessary and will be entitled to recover legal fees and court costs as allowed by law.

    The Program entitles Members to the following rewards, special offers, and other Membership benefits.

    1. Accumulation of points - PVR Privilege. PVR Privilege members receive 5 points per 100 Rupees spent on item purchases at a participating PVR location by presenting their mobile number during box office and concession stand transactions, or online at Points will generally be credited within 24 hours of the transaction
      PVR Privilege Club membership is valid for a period of 365 days after enrollment, and unless renewed, the membership will lapse with the efflux of time at the end of the 365 days.
    2. Ineligible Purchases.  The following purchases or products are NOT eligible toward earning points:
      • PVR Cinemas Director's Cut tickets, or passes or free admissions of any sort.
      • In conjunction with a complimentary Movie voucher of any sort.
      • Initial purchase of gift cards; gift cards are eligible toward earning rewards upon REDEMPTION at the participating PVR Cinemas locations but NOT upon initial purchase.
      • Tickets purchased for a group or an organization via bulk booking process
      • Concession purchases as a part of a group or organization via bulk booking.
      • Ticket purchases that are refunded.
      • Purchases made at a sublet space within aPVR Cinemas location.
    3. PVR Privilege Reward Vouchers:  Upon Accumulation of 50 points on purchases made at participating PVR Cinemas locations,the Member will be get a Reward Voucher worth Rs. 50, which in turn, will have a validity of 90 days from the date of issuance.
    4. As soon as a cumulative value of 50 points is earned during a valid membership of either tier, 50 PVR Privilege points would be automatically redeemed towards issuance of a Reward Voucher worth Rs. 50.
      PVR Privilegemembers can use their vouchers for both F&B as well as Movie ticket transactions.
      Maximum qualifying transactions per day is 10 tickets per account; maximum qualifying earn per day is Rs. 8000/-per account. These transaction limits may be lifted for special events as per PVR's sole discretion. The reward vouchers will be reflected in the Member's account. Reward vouchers have no cash valueAll earned reward vouchers are valid for 3 months from date of issuance at which time they will expire. A Member may redeem his/her earned and unexpired Rewards at participating PVR Cinemas locations in India by (1) presenting his/her Membership number in connection with a purchase and (2) notifying the PVR Cinemas employee at the time and point of sale that they want to redeem the reward.
    5. Birthday Promotion. If a Member has provided a date of birth, a "birthday gift" will be loaded onto the account on the first day of the birthday month that is entered into the Member's profile. Offer is valid for 30 days from the date of issuance at which time it will expire.
    6. Combo Upgrades.  PVR Privilege members will receive up to 6 upgrades on Popcorn/ Pepsi combo per year (from Regular combo to large combo) in properties where such combos are available; via a Voucher sent to their registered mobile number. Combo upgrades cannot be combined with any other promotional offer.
    7. Other Benefits.  From time to time, PVR Cinemas, at its discretion, may offer additional benefits and events to its Members. For example, at any given time PVR Cinemas may host a special PVR Privilege Members only movie screening on a Paid basis at select theatres in certain locations. In order to take part when a screening becomes available, Program Members must have their accounts in an Active state, and should have provided us a valid email ID. If selected to participate, Members will be notified of these screenings via email.
    8. Mobile Number to be provided at the time of transaction.  To be eligible for membership benefits and to earn points your Mobile number must be (i) presented when purchasing tickets at the box office, (ii)entered into the appropriate area of the URL on the transaction page for purchases at, or (iii) entered when prompted at our theatre kiosks, (iv) presented at the concession stand when purchasing concession products. It is the Member's responsibility to present the mobile number in condition to be entered at the time of the transaction.
    9. To earn or apply benefits, the Membership account must be active at the time of purchase. Members will NOT be credited retrospectively for purchases made without an active account presented at the time of purchase.
      PVR is not responsible for use or redemption of rewards from an account that has been lost, stolen, or otherwise used without Member's permission.
      All rewards are the property of PVR Cinemas.

    If upon the entry of mobile number, the computer is inaccessible or in case of any event outside our control, Members should retain original ticket and F&B receiptsfor credit by contacting PVR Customer Service at Receipts or tickets are required for manual adjustments. Not more than two manual adjustments will be allowed per account in a single calendar month. Manual adjustments will not be made for purchases made beyond 30 calendar days from date of original purchase. PVR Cinemas reserves the right to refuse manual adjustments in the event of suspected abuse of the program or fraud.

  4. Charges for PVR Privilege Club

    There is membership fee of Rs. 300 for enrollment into PVR Privilege Club.The fee is not refundable.
    Members will get F&B Vouchers worth the value of the Bundle (i.e. Rs. 300) via SMS within 30 minutes of buying the package, and these vouchers have a validity of ONE YEAR from the date of issue.

  5. PVR Privilege Term and Renewals

    The PVR Privilegemembership term shall be applicable for one year from the date of payment for Membership enrollment.
    Renewals within a current term extend the existing expiration date by one year from end of the prior term. Renewals after expiration commence on the date of renewal and expire one year from the renewal date. If no renewal has occurred, or if the Member voluntarily cancels his or herSelect Membership, the Member's account will be automatically deactivated. The Membership so expired / terminatedfrom the Program will thereafter not be able to utilize their existing points balance but they can use their vouchers earned under the program until the date of validity of said vouchers. After 2 years (24 consecutive months) of non-use, the benefits of the program will not be accessible and we may cancel the account.




    This Agreement, and the respective rights and obligations of the parties hereunder, shall be governed by the Jurisdiction of New Delhi.


    This Agreement, including all documents referenced herein, represents the entire understanding between us and any member of the Program with respect to the Program and supersedes any other agreements, statements or representations. Headings used in this Agreement are for reference only and shall not affect the meaning of any terms. Any use of any portion of the PVR Privilege Program is deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
